First post so please excuse any noob mistakes!
I know that I should be patient and let things settle down, but is there a problem with my new FTTC install done yesterday?
From the BTW speed test I'm getting
Down 16.08Mb
Up 13.42Mb
Ping latency 36.38
I've repeated the test several times, and I get the same figures plus/minus 1.00 using my TP-Link WR1043nd router and direct through the modem.
I notice that the Plusnet estimated line speed is 69Mb (on 21/01/2013) with current line speed 17Mb. And BTW I'm about 250 metres from the cabinet.
When the engineer had completed the install he showed me his test result that implied a download of 80, (ie 80/20) , and I think the SNR was about 3.4, (but don't rely on that)
Any ideas please
David
Edit 15/02/2013 @ 23:20 FTTP corrected to FTTC.

It looks like you've still got the profile from ADSL, which should change automatically, eventually, if you call support they should be able to reset it quicker.

This seems more like FTTC (i.e. a normal copper phone line between your house and the cabinet) than FTTP (fibre-optic connection all the way between your house and the exchange)

Adam
Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, it seems to be OK at the moment, getting 70+Mb downstream. I'll check every so often over the next ten days and shout if the connection deteriorates.
