New Customer Question

Hi,

 

I am a new customer and have received my Router today (Thursday 18th).

 

My original install date was set for Monday 22nd, have i really got to sit here for almost 5 days with router but no broadband, or does the arrival of my router signify a possible early "switch on"?

A Plusnet staffer will probably be along to tell you soon. Another way is to put your telephone number in here and look for text relating to open orders. That just say's no info for this number.

 

Knew i should've stayed with Virgin, they'd have done it by now :(((

You might be lucky and get it activated early, but that is not guaranteed of couse.

I'm assuming PlusNet send out the routers a bit early to ensure the customer is in receipt of it before the activation, of course if it is after then you won't be happy.

As said, a PlusNet member of staff may help and confirm your activation date.

In the meantime, have you tried plugging in the router and seeing if you have an ADSL sync light?

I am afraid you won't be able to connect until your order activation date. The router gets sent early to make sure customers do not have any delay in getting online.
