New Broadband Activation

Hi, I am a new customer to Plusnet, using my own router and signed up on the 11th Feb, it says my  broadband service will be activated on the 22nd Feb, but I have had a solid DSL light on my router since the 14th Feb, is there any chance of getting the service activated before the 22nd?
Many Thanks

Re: New Broadband Activation

The DSL light means sync with the exchange has been achieved but the set-up information needed to route you to Plusnet might not be in place. If you enter your broadband username (probably account_name@plusdsl.net) and account password into you router does the Internet light flash? If it does try ringing the CSC; if they can see the connection attempts they should be able to start your line.
However they will probably advise you that billing will commence immediately, and
until BT notify that provision is complete they will not be able to action any faults.
It is possible that set-up has completed early.

Re: New Broadband Activation

In fairness to PN when we first joined we got online 2 days early - we were well impressed.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
