Never had broadband like it

Ok when it works, but needs rebooting everyday, sometimes two or three times before it decides i'm allowed access to the inter web, can't wait for my contract to end, only problem is it's not until september!!!!  Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!

why not try http://faults.plus.net - or even call PlusNET?

John,
If you describe more precisely your problem, may be other forum members could provide assistance.
Repeatedly bouncing your router is far from ideal, it might severely degrade your line speed as the equipment in the BT exchange might think that there are problems with the phone line.
A description of your configuration ADSL / FTTC / WiFi or wired and the error states you perceive would be a good starting point.  Depending upon the nature of the problem, jumping ISPs is not likely to fx the issue if it relates to the BTOR supplied infrastructure.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Are you using a wired or wireless connection to the router?

From his previous posts there is no master socket and filters seem to be failing on a regular basis, just a bit of info for those trying to help Smiley

Have to be honest Plusnet you need to clamp down on the rude replies people come here obviously looking for help and assistance most unfriendly helpful forum these people are PAYING customers and they can NOT be expected to tech savy like some .

Can you post the router line stats from the TG582n with it connected by ethernet cable to the computer:

When the connection is being lost are you using wireless connectivity or is the computer connected by wire.
Edit > Using a corded phone f you dial 17070 and take option 2 can you hear any noise or crackling sounds?

It looks like your connection has been dropping out fairly frequently, however things seem to have leveled out since Saturday afternoon:

If that starts to become an issue again I'd get a fault raised using the link in thesawdust's reply.

Is this Harvestgoddess' connection history or Johnmw's?
Is it possible you've had HG's name in mind (having just updated their post) when you did this one?
