Network TV cannot get DNS from router TG582n

It has been working fine - delivering BBC iPlayer to the TV and suddenly the TV reports back that the DNS settings are incorrect despite the fact that IP and DNS are set to Auto on the TV network setup and always have been.
Has there been a change in Plusnet somewhere? I want iPlayer service back.  Whats the story Plusnet?  i never had this problem with my previous ISP and router - and nothing  has changed on my TV.
Massively unhappy.

What model TV is it ?
How is it connected ? - wireless / ethernet cable / mains homeplug

I'm not aware of any reason why that should stop working. iPlayer still works OK on my TV connected via wireless to my TG582n.
You could try disconnecting then reconnecting the PPP session using the Disconnect/Reconnect button in the router's administration interface. Try starting up iPlayer again after that.

I am embarrassed to say that I discovered the cause of the problem was the powerline LAN cable was pulled out of the socket!

Cobalt19:  Happens to the best of us.  My RaspBMC install updated and wasn't playing any mp3s the other day.  I spent 2 hours reading through bug reports to suddenly remembered I'd turned my NAS off which had all the mp3s on....
