Does anyone use an extender or can they tell me if the above is compatible with the technicolor TG582n router. It used to work but now I have changed to fibre broadband it works if I put an ethernet connection in but not with wifi. It asks for a code / password but none seem to work.
I cannot eeven bring up the setup wizard on it.
Anyone help

The address of the extender will still be in the range of your old router, not the 192.168.1.xx range of the technicolor. I suggest that you reset the extender and start again. The instructions are here:
