Netgear WN2000RPT extender

Does anyone use an extender or can they tell me if the above is compatible with the technicolor TG582n router. It used to work but now I have changed to fibre broadband it works if I put an ethernet connection in but not with wifi. It asks for a code / password but none seem to work.
I cannot eeven bring up the setup wizard on it.
Anyone help

Re: Netgear WN2000RPT extender

The address of the extender will still be in the  range of your old router, not the 192.168.1.xx range of the technicolor.  I suggest that you reset the extender and start again.  The instructions are here:

If it works, that's fine and I'm glad you've got it fixed.  Would be nice to know how (just for information), but thanks for your response.
