Netflix on Android

Hi,
I have been having problems with Netflix on my Android devices. It wont connect to their service and throws a 12001 error. Netflix is working fine on other networks and my PS3 connects without any issues. This has only been happening since the last update to the Netflix app. I have been in touch with Netflix and they say it is down to the ISP.
Can anybody help and has anyone else had the problem

Yep tried un-installing and re-installing, and as mentioned before it works when connected to other networks

We don't block Netflix at all, as your PS3 proves.
What exactly did Netflix Support tell you?

They told me to do the checks on https://help.netflix.com/en/node/2341 and some other network checks, to uninstall and reinstall and that the fact that i haven't changed anything on my local network and it works when connecting via a different internet connection the problem must be with the ISP

Did you explain that your PS3 works on the same network?

yes but they said netflix on android may be going through a different route depending on how the ISP is set up for netflix traffic

Netflix is working fine on my Nexus 10, streamed to my TV with my Chromecast so your's must be a strange problem. Good luck getting it resolved.

Netflix works fine on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 as well.

just noticed on the google play store that other people have had problems since the last update

after another update to the netflix add, it still seems to be blocking it when going through android. I can still use netflix on my PS3 and am able to use my chromecast, I just cant watch anything directly on my android devices when connected to plusnet. All other networks I have tried work fine. Anyone got any more ideas?

The ISP routing shouldn't change for different devices on your network.
Have you tried this:

Clear the Netflix application data Navigate to Settings. Under Device, choose Application manager. Select Netflix. Choose Clear data, then OK. Re-enter the Netflix application and try playing again.

How much free memory do you have? I read somewhere that less than 500Mb can cause this error code.

yes I have tried to clear the data, with no luck. I have just looked at my phones available memory and its about 450 MB. I will clear this down and try when I am on my home network again. still doesn't explain why it works fine on other networks and it a bit of a coincidence that all my android devices stopped working at the same time
