Can't see at all why you would need to open ANY ports on your router. When you open a port it is to let data in or out to the internet
Have a look at this to see if it sheds any light!
Quote they have given me a home signal box to boost things, but now I only get 3G or an H and no normal phone signal, so no calls or texts
Have a look at this to see if it sheds any light!
Geoff,

Hmmm... no further on, and no call back from level 3 support at Three yet either
I'm still finding the upload speed a pain though, even popping a picture on Facebook seems to take a while these days, I'm sure it was never this slow in the past - I would have noticed!

Have you checked the status of the Plusnet firewall? https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=firewall
I'd suggest trying with it OFF (note you need to disconnect/reconnect for changes to take effect).

Well here's a quick update, for everyone kind enough to try and help previously.
I now have a new box - same problems
I am now the proud owner of an HTC One X+ so we can't blame the phone.
We should have another one to test too but the last two Sims 3 claim to have sent out next day delivery haven't arrived.
Oh, and they need up to 7 days to check out the second box's faults
I've asked PlusNet to send out a new router (which as the best ISP in the world) they have agreed to do.
I hate 3!!!
