Need more speed!

Hi,
I currently have the Premier Option 1 package (which I'm quite happy with) but it's still at the ole speed of 2Mbps.
I was wondering if it's possible to keep the same package but move to the higher 'upto 8Mbps' speed?
According to BT's line tester, I should be able to get upto 5.5Mbps which seems like a worthwhile increase.
Cheers!

Re: Need more speed!

http://max.plus.net used to be the link, but I think nowadays you just raise a ticket asking to be upgraded to the 'Max' product.

If you haven't raised a ticket, I'll pick this up and place the order for you in the morning. It'll complete on the next working day (Tuesday).

Re: Need more speed!

That would be great thanks.
Do I still need to raise a ticket or will you just remember it?
Cheers!

Re: Need more speed!

Hi there,
You're actually already on Max.
Can you try rebooting your router and see if you get faster speeds?

Re: Need more speed!

it would help if you posted the router stats

Re: Need more speed!

This makes me look like a right numpty!
I swear on all my previous Speedtest.net results I've been getting 1.8 - 1.9Mb/s.
Now this evening I try it (without rebooting the router) and get 4.54Mb/s, which is great.
I'll keep an eye on it for a while.
Thanks.

Re: Need more speed!

I wouldn't feel too much like a numpty Smiley
I had to do some manual changes to your account first to get your speeds up to where they should have been.
