Re: Need a reset

OK, that's confirmed my suspicions. We've seen two other cases like this recently - hold on while I go find them.

You need to contact Plusnet and say that it has been suggested that you are on the wrong service offer. You could point them to the two topics I've linked.
Unfortunately as it's Sunday the two people who would be the best bet for a speedy resolution are not around.
[me=jelv]JoJo or Chris if you see this, please can you take a look[/me]

Re: Need a reset

I can't think of anything you can do in the meantime. Could you post the ticket number here please.
If you haven't heard anything by mid-day on Monday can you send me a Private Message to remind me please. I have a way I can sometimes get an alert to the correct people - I'll give that a go.

Re: Need a reset

Hi Rash,
Unfortunately due to the problems we're having with our traffic management system I can't do anything to help at the moment. I'll do what I can to help as soon as possible:

Re: Need a reset

Rash, Chris has confirmed to me that yours is exactly the same problem as the other two. Given that, I anticipate that once the problems he linked are cleared he will be able to fix your line very quickly.

Re: Need a reset

Hi Rash,
I'm afraid at the moment things will be unlikely to change after 4pm.
[quote=excerpt from traffic management service status]Our traffic management platforms are 'frozen' at 9.00pm last night. Any traffic management restrictions that were applied to your account at this time of the evening will still be in place now.

Re: Need a reset

Hi Joanne
I wish i had read this earlier.....
* If you've disconnected/reconnected between 9.00pm last night and now then you will have been assigned a 'default traffic management profile' from 9.00pm last night. This profile heavily restricts time sensitive activities such as Peer-to-Peer filesharing and Binary Usenet. It may also affect the use of some high-definition streaming services and download sites/servers.
At least i would have been able to do some downloading before 4pm, what a time for this to happen.....now what did i used to do before i had a pc.
