does anyone know if there is a link between having interleaving on the line and sure signal stopping

interleaving could increase the latency on your line as it's used for error correction, however it shouldn't have affected it enough to disrupt sure signal.
was the interleaving placed to sort out a fault?

Hi
Yes it was put onto the line as we appeared to have faults, which it seems to have corrected as our speed was less than 1MBPS, and is now unto 6-7MBPS, the only problem is as soon as this was put on the sure signal stopped working and is now only showing a power on light.

Did you get a router firmware upgrade at the same time?

If you mean we received a new router, when we joined Plusnet then yes, and VODAFONE was working at this stage, but at the time of the fault as far as I know no, not quite sure what you mean by new firmware?

Re read your last message, and now realise you were talking about an upgrade and I definately don't think we did, or they have not informed us of one, we have sent them an email with hops performance test we did, and awaiting reply, do you want us to put this on here so you can look at

Interleaving shouldn't have any adverse affect on your SureSignal box. Are you able to try it on another broadband line to see if the box itself has developed a fault?
