My line

Good afternoon.

I have a question regarding an issue I've encountered. It appears that the Exchange System is resetting my line every four weeks, precisely on a four-week cycle.

My download speed is 56 Mbps down and 16.5 Mbps up.

Re: My line

Openreach technicians tested the line in January and indicated a profile of 80/20. Could you please verify if the line remains banded?

Im still hit 29 marks still

Re: My line

@DJMcKenzie87 With the D/S attenuation you are reporting, I sincerely doubt you will get 80Mb/s.

That last graph you posted does look a bit 'spikey', but on a wireless connection, not unknown.

From the first of the event logs you posted, could this be your IPv6 renewal event, which as PN do not currently offer IPv6, is oviously from an external source?

Re: My line

@jab1  Definitely some IPv6 stuff going on, to be expected as the OP is on the IPv6 trial.

@DJMcKenzie87  What do mean by the system is resetting the line, do you mean it is dropping and restarting.?  Your speeds are rather low but you are not close to the FTTC cabinet. The line doesn't seem to be banded as the sync speed is changing. You could try raising a fault with Plusnet but if it is only happening every 4 weeks they will probably say it's OK some drops are to be expected.

The 4 week regular pattern is unusual, generally line faults would cause random drops.

Re: My line

@RealAleMadrid Sorry, didn't realise the OP was on the trial, that has not  been made clear.
