My internet has got slower and slower then stopped

Over the past month or so, my internet has gradually got slower then loosing connectivity to the point where it went completely on Sunday. I rang the helpline who flagged it and said someone would ring me back. I got the call this morning and after going through all the usual troubleshooting, was told to plug it into the test socket and wait for 3 days. Is this normal? My family and I put aside an hour each evening so we can all video chat which I have had to miss for the last 2 days. It's not the first time this has happened or even the second

Looking at my account details, it would appear that my contract runs out on the 11th of this month. Could someone confirm that?

Hi @gary67

 

Sorry to hear about problems with your broadband. I can see that there is already open fault ticket on your account. It is normal to perform Own Domain Checks - connect router into test socket and leave it like this for further monitoring. This process helps with excluding any issues with internal wiring.

 

Any contract dates you can see under your member centre are correct.
