My connection is on the deck... Profile?

Unrestricted gaming package, I'm running at around 0.5 - 1mb - Its unbearable 😞
How do I get to see my profile?

in your first post you said you were getting 0.5 - 1mbps speeds but your speed tests in the latest post show speeds varying between 4.51 to 23.56 kbps. How were you measuring the speeds in your first post.
With that variation are you using Kaspersky
To get your IP profile you would need to run the BT speedtest but at present it is unreliable so the best bet at present is to get your Current Line Speed from here as it is supposed to mirror it https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed

I am using Kaspersky - But only on 1 of the laptops, both are slow & iphone through wireless is too...
The speedtest thing is wierd - It hovers around 2450 area for about half of it & then flys off the scale. - Upload is constant.
I have been using Kaspersky for years - Its only Anti-virus not all that other jazz they do..

The only way to get sensible results from that speed tester is to temporarily disable Kaspersky
The other thing is to try the TBB speed test http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html which does work even with Kaspersky active - this is mine with KIS running and a 3000kbps IP profile

You do need to run the test when wired as the problem may be the wireless connection

Wierd! - As if by magic my connection is back to normal... I don't get it.
Thanks for the info on the speedtest though - It was consistant with Kaspersky paused.

I've just ran a line chack and your BT profile is definitely 7150. I've had a scout around and as yet can see no issues with your exchange or the network (although these things are only normally obvious when there have been many similar reports)

Tell me, if I was getting the absolute best connection from you, what would the figure say in the top line of "My Broadband Speed" box? (Without telling me about all the different factors) just say I had a perfect line..
