My FTTC broadband speed has been fairly stable at 65-74Mb with uploads around 17Mbps since being installed in February, tonight its all slowed down, I reset the Plusnet provided Technicolor TG582n router and OR Modem (don't want to mess with it to much). But my speeds haven't increased, all tests done wired. Is there a network issue or should I raise a fault..
Test results after resetting everything.
A stranger speed test result from thinkbroadband.com indication when using there own TBB protocol things are ok so it appears to be a HTTP through put issue if such a thing exists.

Fixed, I had set parental controls up on the router to filter out a certain bulling website. Obviously the router isn't fit for purpose though.

A misconfig can impact things in many ways, not always the router at fault, you could alternativly edit the hosts file on the pc and put website.com 127.0.0.1
