My Plusnet router makes a hissing sound

Hi

My Plusnet router makes a hissing sound whenever it's receiving data — downloading web-pages or files, streaming, etc.

This seems to be a common problem.

I've tried to call, but there's no answer.

Could you send me a replacement?

Try switching off the 5GHz frequency in your router’s settings. If that clears the noise up then there’s no fault with the router. 

From reading posts on this subject it appears the noise generated by the Hub One when the 5GHz is being used to be normal.
