Just thought that I would share my stats and hopefully get some feedback/comments from the community.
Running a NETGEAR DG834PN, connected to the BT master socket using a adslnation XF-1e microfilter, only other device connected to the phone line is a phone, connected to the microfilter as well.
I have been experimenting with the SNRM, and have come to the conclusion that when set to 70% using DMT, it provides me with the least amount of errors, but gives me the best speed.
I am just waiting for interleaving to be disabled, just to test that out, as my minimal latency time is 32ms to anywhere, even to the plusnet aggregator router.
Due to the fact that I am awaiting interleaving to be disabled, I have been resync'ing my CPE in the mornings just to check as to whether it has been done. I asked plusnet to turn it off, in which they replied that it had been, but after 5 days, no change. Got back to them and they said that it had been set to auto, so basically it turned back on again, so this time they have said that I will be switched to 'OFF', so hopefully by the end of this week.
But from doing the resync's (at 70% slider value), I was sync'ing at 7392 with the SNRM never falling below 6dB even in the evening's, but now it sync'ing at 7360.
7392 is the sweet spot, as it was allowing the IP profile to hit 6500, but obviously with it sync'ing at 7360, its down to 6000. Anything higher than 7392, error rate goes up.
Another thing that I am trying to figure out, is to why a tone is only being loaded with 2 bits, this varies when resync'ing, so it may be tone 114 or tone 109 (see attachment), even if the noise margin slider is set to say 50%, but the SNR for that tone is good (And yes, I am not referring to the pilot tone ;)).

I did read another thread that someone else was waiting for interleaving to be turned off too, on 20CN.

I am just waiting to obtain a new CPE and go FTTC, so I will leave it be until then!

You might find that the issue is related to REiN - running RouterStats might be informative - see links below.
If the issues are related to the d-side of your circuit, they might also impact a FTTC service too.

That bump in error rate and LOS was just me unplugging and installing the SSFP.
Downstream ATT down by 2dB and Upstream ATT down by 0.5dB (from my most recent previous testing).
Downstream SNRM has gone up by 1dB and given a higher sync speed. So it looks like IP Profile 7Mbps is a go.

Is this a 20CN service? Tone utilisation looks good, but the plot is cut off before tone 255.
28dB ought to deliver 8128kbps. The SNRM is still elevated. Can you please post stats direct from your router?

The path has interleaving enabled, so I assume 8128 sync rate isn't always possible.
The SNRM has not moved a single figure since I installed the SSFP and new cable yesterday. Even yesterday evening, there was no change from 8.1dB.
Error rate has been very low, just a couple here and there, plus no disruptions.
I could probably push (lower the SNRM to around 6dB) to get a bit more out of the connection, but I don't want to risk error rates increasing when bad weather returns.

As this line is working at its max synch, "spare" SNRM headroom is understandable, trying to adjust it (downwards) is not going to deliver anything. This line looks like is it as good as it gets!
