Re: More ADSL problems

It looks as though the line has been banded due to the weather related problems you refer to
This is as you surmised.
A better question is why the line degraded so much in the poor weather.
Have you tried raising a fault

Re: More ADSL problems

Hi Nigel60,
Sorry to hear about the issues you've had. The line has been banded as the connection is dropping pretty frequently. It looks like things are starting to settle down but I'd still advise raising a fault as this may be due to the weather being more "reasonable" http://faults.plus.net

Re: More ADSL problems

Hi,
Thanks for your two replies. I have now raised a fault ticket, lets hope we can get to the route of the problem, and find out why the line degrades so much in bad weather. I would expect a line fault somewhere!  Sad

Re: More ADSL problems

Whatever caused the original problem has not been resolved, and your line has been banded again.
Is your fault ticket still open?

Re: More ADSL problems

I can see that you've updated the Fault Ticket with this information which is very helpful.
There's likely going to be a fault with the Splitter Card at the exchange which we'll need to get looked at for you. Our Faults Team will arrange for an engineer to visit your Local Exchange to get this resolved for you.
Our Faults Team will be in touch in due course.
