Hi there,
It depends on the modify but usually not - the exchange session is usually restarted when the work is done and the router resyncs itself after that. Always worth checking the router logs though to make sure that's happened.

What would I be looking for in the router logs to confirm it ?

I was thinking of a disconnection/reconnection or notification of a resync, but you could also check the other pages depending on what the modify is. If interleaving, look for FEC errors or confirmation that interleaving is on. If it's an upload uncap, then check that the upstream sync is above 448.
