Missing Webstats

Is anyone else still seeing webstats that were generated yesterday?
I understood that PN had put into place a monitoring system for this.

Re: Missing Webstats

We were warned that Customer Webststs would be produced later than usual today as a result of the database maintenance announced in the same Service Status announcement.
See here.

Thank you for that - it was one I missed and it had disappeared into the archives.
However, it says "Customer Webstats will be later than usual tomorrow morning".
It may be still morning is the USA but not here. Furthermore, the webstats are generally available less than 5 hours after midnight which, as the maintenance was due to finish at 6am would have been 11 am.
I have raised a ticket to 'nudge' them.

Re: Missing Webstats

It is 6:30pm now and still no webstats.
If they are not generated soon, we will see a repeat of the old problems whereby several days have to be generated manually - taking up a lot of engineers time.

Re: Missing Webstats

I think it's Bob who usually takes the lead when webstats fail.
Bob wasn't in the office today...

Re: Missing Webstats

I'm not sure how this thread was missed today. I've just given the CSC guys a nudge and they are giving networks a callout and raising a problem at the moment.

Re: Missing Webstats

I'd love to know how they are going to get 5 hours processing done by midnight - 'cause if they don't there's a good chance the stats will be messed up anyway.

Re: Missing Webstats

Well, the webstats appeared just before midnight.
There could be a problem with today's stats though - someone will have to remember to manually start the script as the usual scheduled starting time will have been missed.

Re: Missing Webstats

Todays webstats run is currently going through and it's been added back to CRON so it goes through automatically again. This also turns the reporting back on for us so we can see if there are any problems.
