Hi
After many months of fairly respectable times my speed has been brought down horrendously after a dodgy spell and doesn't seem to be creeping back up as expected
Furthermore there seems to be a mismatch between the BT Test who have me as 4500 down and Plusnet who have me as 3500 down
Anyone at Plusnet able to help me out on this ?
Thanks in anticipation !
Stephen

Hi there hydester,
I've just looked at your account and ran a few checks for you. The 3500 profile has been set by BT and may have been caused by a low sync event, however tests show that this is not currently a problem. Our profile should rise to meet this after the connection has been up constantly for 72 hours so I would advise avoiding rebooting your router until that period of time has elapsed. Please flag this to our support team if you continue to have problems after 3 days

Just to add to that, although the BT Speedtester is showing a 4500 profile, the reporting that we receive is showing 3500 hence our side having you set at 3500. I've upped this to 4500 just in case it's restricting you.

Thank you both. Have just re-tested with BT & yes it is 3500
They really do punish you hard for an outage don't they ?!
Ridiculously so I reckon as my outage was not really bad
My uptime now reads as System Uptime: 268:54:39 so it should have updated by now !
Anyway thanks for your help & I will just be patient !

Still seem stuck on 3500 IP despite being rock solid for days
Anything you can do about it at Plusnet ?
It seems pretty unfair & unnecessary
With thanks in anticipation
