I look after a number of metronet accounts for friends and family. One of these customer centre accounts appears to have a corrupted password. I had a note of the account name and password. When I was unable to access the account I then requested a password reminder. This came through as a varied collection of symbols, figures and letters. About 20 digits long. Typing this in still will not allow me into the account. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing something here? Cheers Geoff
I'll see if I can replicate this now. Edit: Hmmm, seem OK to me. I click the 'Forgotten Password' link on the Member Centre login pages and enter my username and the numbers from the Captcha. I then receive a secure URL to my email address. When I click on this my username and password are displayed.

Hi Bob, Yes exactly what I tried from my own account. Mine was fine too. The faulty account does everything it should but when I click on the email link it comes back with the correct page showing the user name correctly but the password is something like: $1$M4m8cauM*m8$ etc etc. A specific account corruption? Any thoughts?
