Using imageshack makes narrative posts, as above, very easy to follow, positioning images by appropriate text.

As an ex Media Professional, I like images !

Which doesn't work so well when you delete images from image shack or it goes down  Wink Wink
It will make reading older posts when looking for information a bit of a waste of time

There was nothing wrong with the image attached to the post I've quoted - when I clicked the thumbnail I got the full size image.
(and DON'T use imageshack - that's not needed for these forums, having them attached as thumbnails is far better)

Sorry about images, don't know how to make them bigger!

On my post #11, that would require between 6 & 18 clicks rather than none, to display one image at a time.
(Once to select, once to view, once to return to post ?)
OK for a single image, not so for multiple images (especially mine !!!)    Wink

Only problem with post #11 is I need to scroll so far just to read the text  Cry , if it were any longer my mouse would fall off the mat  Lips_are_sealed

You need an Apple Magic Mouse, where you just one finger stroke it to scroll down !
And it only needs feeding once every 9 days.
TBH most of the time I just press [SPACEBAR] to scroll down a page at a time
Or [Page Down] or [Page Up], or even the scroll bars.

Oh, only 9 days, I think I'll stick to eating apples - and I'm not going to adjust my mouse sensitivity (he's very fussy) otherwise I'd get to the end before I'd read the beginning  Grin

16 days with alkalines.
And don't you go eating my Apple !
My mouse is female, hence the stroking.
And the occasional tummy rub to keep her smooth.

Re: Mega download speed early on Today Tuesday 15th May .... 19.07mb/s 95%

Don't you just love these speedtest results, Speedtest.net just gave me 7.24Mbps down & that's on a 6.5Mbps profile  Roll_eyes - can't be bothered with all these images  Undecided
Edit: and would you believe I tried another server and got exactly the same result  Cheesy

Re: Mega download speed early on Today Tuesday 15th May .... 19.07mb/s 95%

I find, as my default speedtest server is London, if I get a poor result, when I use local Manchester server, my results are back up to normal.
Usually down to football match in London, or other major event, despite denials by PN.
It's a BT problem anyway, not PN's

And the low speedtest results correlate to BBC iPlayer download speeds, and others such as software updates, after midnight when I am unthrottled, and the whole internet slows down, for me.

Re: Mega download speed early on Today Tuesday 15th May .... 19.07mb/s 95%

I tested this on my line last night with a couple of different profiles. The results are below:
Profile set to 20Mb - Profile set to 1.9Mb -
For those seeing higher speeds than they should be on speedtests, what results are you getting on a different speedtest site such as http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/

Re: Mega download speed early on Today Tuesday 15th May .... 19.07mb/s 95%

This was more aimed at those seeing significantly above their profile rate rather than generally. I was trying to see whether the higher speeds than expected were due to the speedtest caching the files it uses for the test.

Do you mean like this, is this significant enough, for me to run both speedtestss when it happens again?
