May be I should be re-interleaved?

A little while ago, probably when I went unlimited on my ADSL2+, interleaving was removed without my asking.
Both prior to its removal and since my sync has been around 8000 kbps and SNRM 3 dB.
Graphs of my CRC errors concern me, whether with good reason or not I do not know. Even though the hourly average CRCs/minute is well under 100, at periods the average is very much higher.
To get the stats router and computer were ON overnight, but between midnight and 6 am.there was no activity.
Copies of the relevant graphs are attached.
As I am not a gamer, do I need fast path, and should my connection be changed to interleaved?
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

With the errors you're getting on your line it would certainly be worth putting interleaving on first as this should improve things for you.
Would you like me to do this?

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

If you're not actually noticing any drops or poor level of service, there's not much value in making any chances.
Your connection isn't dropping so I don't see any value in doing this.
If it's not broke, don't fix it Smiley

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

@chrispurvey, @James
Thanks both Smiley for your replies, which seem a little contradictory Undecided Cheesy
It has been suggested to me, that eventually DLM will notice the errors and increase the SNRM target, whilst others say that applying interleaving could be ineffective, because the MSAN on ADSL2+ is aggressive and would soon apply fast path.
Time for iced bag!

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

Even if you are not seeing any drops a lot of errors would cause a lot of retries which will slow down the overall throughput. Interleaving would eliminate most of the retries by correcting on the fly so may give an overall improvement - you could only tell by trying it.

Hi Chris! Please give it a whirl! When will it become effective?
Thanks. Smiley

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

Hi lucerne,
Happy to do this but just want to say before we do - it's currently set to Auto, so the DLM system evidently doesn't seem to think it needs to be on, not sure if that changes your mind but thought I should mention it before we go ahead?

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

Once again thanks! Does it take place immediately, or may be a need to do something? My monitor still shows fast path as does the router's telnet data?

Re: May be I should be re-interleaved?

Thank you as well! Now to see what difference it makes in addition to error reduction

The modify order hasn't completed yet, it should do at some point today though.
