MAC not needed? Really?

Just been informed in a ticket that if I am migrating IN to plusnet FROM and LLU ISP, then no MAC Code is needed.

Is that really correct? How does the process then work? (I'll be transferring both Phone and Broadband)

That is correct yes, it's a process called a "working line takeover" hence no MAC key is needed.
I'd not worry as lots of customers come over to us this way without any issues.

Wow - that was quick.
I'll be getting a MAC anyway as part of the cancelling of the old service. Plus net can of course throw it in the round filing cabinet if not needed.
