ok the best thing you can do is to log a fault at http://faults.plus.net/ so that we can investigate this further

You done the above chap? You may find (as we discussed earlier Wink ) that if you move you'll just migrate with the problem, would be easier to sort said problem out (Even if you believe the line is crystal-ball, it may not be). Then if your *still* unhappy, move.
unless i've missed something, have these things been checked? (As Alex hasnt made public, idk what hes done other than the Line Tests)
somethings definitely not right though to see that sort of throughput on speedtest. -- Did you know you can do jitter tests at pingtest.net too ? (Logs the results like ST.net)

Re: MAC delay

I think you'll find that being confrontational and abusive (however mildly) is not the best way to get help.  I personally hope (based purely on your apparent attitude) your problems do go with you if you decide to move.  Please learn to take a better attitude with people who are trying to be constructive, bear in mind that this is a community site and comments and suggestions come from all levels of expertise and experience and please make your posts more meaningful (for example what software or site is your last post based on please as without that information it's very difficult to confirm / refute or compare your results).

Re: MAC delay

So if you're off to a LUU ISP who installs their own equipment in the telephone exchange there's at least a chance that your problem won't move with you.  If that does not work out then you've just got to hope that your new ISP offers better fault-resolution than Plusnet does.

Re: MAC delay

Just as an update to this thread, we've made a change that means MACs will be supplied within a few hours now rather than 5 days. We're going to trial this and see how it goes before deciding whether to leave it in place, go back to how it was previously or try a different timeframe.
