Re: Loyal Customer offer

I thought it was a great deal, and I took it up this morning.
Strange though my speed has dropped in the last 2 hours  frmo a consistent 1.8Mbps to 500kbps

Puddy, why do you need an extra laptop from Plusnet? Haven't you got one from Redten?  Wink
Though pleased with the offer, I have some doubts about some detail. While agreeing with the offer and signing a new 12 months contract one might practically be shifted from an old legacy contract to a new, revised one with no legacy rights. Isn't it so? I hope I am wrong.  Huh Could anybody explain, please?  Embarrassed

Glad to hear you're happy with it. Smiley
In terms of the slow speeds you're experiencing at the moment I can assure you it's nothing to do with the new contract offer!
It could be related to a pipe drop we experienced this morning, we're currently working to rebalance the network.
What's your sync speed at the moment? You can find this from your modem/router, or by completing a BT Speedtest.

I'm on the old PAYG fixed 2mb as I was happy getting that consistently.

Re: Loyal Customer offer

One account that I administer had the offer e-mail, but this one didn't.
However, I've accepted the offer on both accounts but no ticket confirmation e-mail on this account - ok on the other one.
So a bit puzzled by this. I assume the offer is open to all MN customers, especially as I've been here since the original MN days and really am a loyal customer.

Re: Loyal Customer offer

If PN customers accept this offer I assume you can still change products within Plus Net?

Re: Loyal Customer offer

Terry,
It's a phased email, so you should get the email eventually. That said, now you've raised a ticket we'll add the discount for you manually.
David,
Yes, the only limitation on the offer is that you stay for 12 months. You can change product within this time and still keep the discount.

Re: Loyal Customer offer

I've been with PlusNet since November 2003 but haven't as yet received the 'Loyal Customer' discount offer e-mail.
I'll certainly accept it when I do receive it and look forward to getting both the e-mail and the discount!

They may well do with that kind of offer.
I remember signing up for a deal with Libertysurf offering unlimited access for the unsubstainable price of £20/year.
They had so many takers it turned out to be just that....unsustainable.
Libertysurf are still here under the Tiscali flag....just!

Re: Loyal Customer offer

In the event that someone who has signed up to this loyalty discount offer wanted to leave within the 12-month period, what would the penalty be?
- Pay back the £30 incentive, or
- the remainder of the 12 months subscription?
