I have just switched my broadband and phone package to Plusnet after being with Globalnet / MAAF since 1997.
I have been getting download speeds of 12+ Mb and upload speeds of 0.8Mb with MAAF, but know I am only getting 8.5Mb download, upload is about the same.
Same router & PC and same gateway.
Any suggestions?

After Adam updated my speed profile all was back to normal for a few days, but now my download speed has dropped back to 5 Mbps from 12+ Mbps. Upload speed remains OK.
My BT profile is showing an IP Profile of 13.03 Mbps, the best it has ever been.
Does my Plusnet profile need checking or could it be something else?

Hi Jim, thanks for your reply.
I have checked via the link you gave and it states:-
Estimated Speed 9Mbps (Range 7Mb to 11Mb)
Current Line Speed 12.9Mbps
Latest BT Wholesale Test 5.1Mbps dowmload
IP Profile 13.03 Mbps.
My download speed with MAAF was alwyays 12+ Mbps and it got back to that after Adam updated my Plusnet speed profile, but now it has slipped back. I have had no disconnection other me trying other gateways and doing a router reboot to see if that improved things.
My Voyager 2110 is still synced at 14769 Kbps Down and 1119 Kbps Up.
Any thoughts as to what to do next?
Best Regards, Robski
