Low speed all day.Anyone similar?

My download speed has been about 4.5Mb/s all day, when it is usually 13Mb/s. The upload speed is normal at about 1Mb/s. One would think I was back on ADSL1 !
I notice that the router disconnected about 20hours ago and the sync speed is now only 13Mb/s when it it usually 16Mb/s.
My connection is thro PCL-AG01. 
Located-Wrexham.
Anyone with similar effects ?

Looks like you had a low sync which caused your profile to drop, it's increased again now. Try logging in to the router and doing a single disconnect/reconnect, this should see your speed increase.
Scratch that, the line check I've just performed shows you're still in sync at 4985. Can you paste your line stats in so I can see what they show in comparison?

BW u/d  1208/13571 Kb/s
Output power u/d  12.5/0.0 dB
Line att. u/d  13.5/29.0 dB
SN margin  u/d  6.0/9.0 dB
These stats are normal for my line, have been ever since changing to ADSL2.
Any further thoughts ?

Sorry Chris, small error in last post. The stats are normal for me except for the download speed(sync) ,that has always been over 16Mb/s since going on ADSL2.

Still stuck on 4.6Mb/s down, (1Mb/s up) this morning (Plusnet test).
Carried out a BT test at 1750 hrs.last night, gave the following:
Down: 4.48Mb/s,  Up: 0.97Mb/s,
IP profile : 11.97Mb/s
Line capable 4-21 Mb/s
As I have previously stated, the regular,constant sync speed has been always about 16Mb/s and actual attained download speed has been constantly about 13 Mb/s.
The apparent disconnection/reconnection info from router suggests it took place about 2100hrs on Wed. 25th
All other line stats seem exactly the same as before.
Any help in restoring my original conditions would be appreciated.

OK, something is obviously wrong as the sync on the line test I ran is significantly lower than your router is reporting. Can you visit faults.plus.net to report this to us and we'll pick it up.
