Low speed!! On Unlimited fibre 80/20

I have heard a lot of people have had a reduced speed to 1mbits from 60mbits+ This unfortunately has happened to me! My speed stats are as below from speedtest.net
Any helped appreciated BTW i'm on gateway PCL-AG08 at City Lifeline House

My speed is awful tonight on pcl-ag02. It only happens around 2030-2200 gmt. I thought it could be my exchange, but in view of other reports & threads I think it's Plusnet's servers not being able to cope!

Now one of the reasons I shouldn't have moved to PN Fibre and should have chose BT infinity instead!

It comes to us all Jamie......MY IP Profile has been reduced just because i changed a cable....god knows what will happen to the ip when we all start getting power cuts as they predict for the near future

Well Jamie I thought it was something wrong here, but it's not the case. During the day the speed is fine. (my BT IP Profile is still the usual 59.84, so really that happy!)

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing slow speeds.
Would it be possible if you could post some information so we can see what is going on?

• Firstly a speed test at http://speedtest.btwholesale.com and run further diagnostic after the test has completed


• Check which gateway you're on at http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway/


• Run a pingpath command, to run the pingpath command you'd need to open a command prompt and type the following, 'pathping ntp.plus.net -q 50'

If you could post the results that would be great.

Hi Chris, Unfortunately can't retrieve the ping command due to having a Mac, but from speedtest.net It is around 200ms
