Do the estimates match with what is on dslchecker.bt.com?
If the speeds are below what that displays for your line, raise it to the faults team at https://portal.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults ;

That noise margin is very high (21.4db).
Looking at the connection logs I'm not surprised that the SNR has increased, your line has had a high number of disconnections.
Are you plugged into the master/test socket and is there any noise on the phone line?

Since the start, router has been connected directly to the ADSL faceplate master socket.
Removed faceplate and switched to using the test socket at ~21:00 12/08/15 (as seen on graph), but disconnections seem to have continued on 13/08/15 in spite of this (as also seen on graph).
Noise margin seems lower now, but seeing as the disconnections have still been occurring, it may be erratic:
1 - Product name: Plusnet Router
3 - Firmware version: 7.275.2_F2704N_Plusnet
4 - Board version: F@ST2704N
5 - Mode ADSL
6 - Uptime: 0 days 00:44:32
7 - Data rate: 804/4543
8 - Maximum data rate: 1272/10760
9 - Noise margin: 5.5/12.8
10 - Line attenuation: 17.7/32.5
Disconnections are at random times, day and night.

Quote line noise has increased again
Is this audible noise on the phone service? If so we need to look at that.

Yes, there is substantial noise (tested with 2 different phone systems connected to the test socket).
