I've just spoken to my wife, she says it's intermittent. She'll be working/browsing fine, then all of a sudden she'll be greeted with a bt wholesale error page.

The BT Wholesale error page will be generated by the DNS of the modem, to overcome that you just need to go into the router and set it to 'use the following DNS' and then enter our DNS servers in there

Although, surely this will just display a more plusnety error now though when i lose service?
What's actually causing me to lose service?

How are you losing service? I think it will have just been the DNS rather than actual loss of connection.

Though there were other outages according to that, which i wasn't aware of.
I haven't noticed the problem since adding the DNS servers in my router settings, so fingers crossed.

I moved to Fibre last month - is this connected to the problem? (Openreach supplied modem) . I've gone into the router and set it to use the Plusnet DNS server addresses that you gave rather than "Get the DNS automatically from your ISP"
Hopefully this will resolve things. Thanks for the posts on this and for the suggested solution

Yes, we've seen that quite a bit. It should resolve it by changing the DNS.

At around midnight last night I lost connection, and was unable to force a reconnect from my router page. It came back a few minutes later, but it definitely dropped out.
Alright, so i don't get the BT wholesale page anymore, but it wasn't really the page itself that was bothering me.
