Hi,
I lost my Internet connection and could not reconnect at 01.30hrs this morning. It is back now 13.30hrs. Is this one of your servers going down in the night? is it not possible to have the "connections" automatically re-directed to another woking server?

Hi there,
As far as I can see your connection dropped at 1:18am and came back at 1:24am.
Did you try a router reboot?

No, I assumed it was your server and that rebooting router would not work. I was downloading a programme on BBCiPlayer and that was lost, so I gave up.
Can you tell why the connection dropped? It happens often during the day as I log on from Suspend.
Thanks,
Alex

Have you checked for BT service Outages on the Exchange Checker?
BT have been doing a lot of work recently. One ISP has an excellent monitoring tool and shows all BT outages they detect - these will affect all ISPs: http://aaisp.blogspot.com/

Hi hamilton36,
It looks like there's still a good line profile on there and there certainly aren't many drops - your connections are tending to last for hours at a time. I'd say checking for MSOs and PEWs (Major Service Outages and Planned Engineering Works) would give you a good idea, please post back if nothing is shown and we'll try some more digging for you.
