Hi guys,
could you post my radius graph please, i seem to have lost some speed.
i have been on fttc for almost 4 weeks now and last night i was only getting 50 instead of the 73 was i getting, the bt speedtest extra bit said i was synced at @59
could this be due to drops on the connection?
I have had an OR engineer visit and thought he may have fixed my drops issue but im not so sure now, i dont use the landline and it seems that after a few hours the connection starts to go down hill and then if i ring my landline number from my mobile i can see the sync light drop on the OR modem, then it stays stable for while the sync should not drop on an incoming call should it?
i only have modem connected and no other devices, this is not a new issue i used to have this problem with previous ISP on adsl.
thanks
Dro

As you can see there's been just a few drops over the past few days still so we may need to focus in that particular issue again for you.
Nope, that doesn't sound right at all. I have tested the line and can't see any issues there, I'm assuming you have a filtered faceplate rather than separate filters? (as some FTTC users seem to) and have you been able to try a different phone handset in case that's causing the issue?

Thanks Adam,
thats looking a lot better than before the OR Enginner came, I will try and get my hands on another phone, however we never use the phone and when i was on adsl with be i could make the sync drop wether i had a phone plugged in or not.
Yes i have a shiny new faceplate fitted by the engineer when he came, the one with the modem connection at the top.
i am just concerned that the speed will just get lower and lower...
as you can see from this
Phone exchange:
HARROW
Estimated line speed:
80Mb (Accurate to within +/- 1Mbit) - Checked on 2013-03-25 13:39:08
Current line speed:
59 Mb
last week it was 77Mb
do you think i need to log another call or is this a result from constant drops during my training period?
oh and im only 20m from the fttc cab

Yes, the profile could well have reduced due to those drops. If I were you I'd keep an eye on things over the next few days and see if the speeds improve again. If they don't I'd say raising a new fault, specifically to do with the connection dropping when the phone is in use would be the best call.
