Losing internet - manchester

Hi all - have been either getting very slow speeds, or losing connection altogether the last few days.
Checked wiring in house and router etc and all ok - wondering if anyone else experienced this? - I am in S Manchester.

I am in Sheffield and my internet has been very slow too. I have a fault pending so I just put the slow speed down to Plusnet testing my BB connection. Web surfing is slow on most pages, you tube and BBCi player keep buffering and my online gaming experience has gone to pot.

Tell me about it. I live the other side of Manchester and my exchange is going to fibre soon and so I'm putting it all down to work being done...... Must admit though going from a s/n of around 9  to up to 35+ and now down 15 is annoying. Yes my speed is all over the place too, used to get a constant 1.54 MB d/l speed and now I'm only getting 2115 kb sync speed. Roll on this all finishing, then the wait for the speed to climb  >:(.
