Look at my line stats

Hi. I have been with plusnet for 2 months. I'm running a TP-Link modem with  Asus RT-N56U router. After the first week the performance for streaming and peer to peer was impressive, but then deteriorated. I then requested the interleaving to be turned off, 3 weeks in, and again for the first week it improved. But then since, it has gone downhill again.
Could you inform me of my line stats... since my custom Asus firmware doesn't display them. Would a snr reset be in order? I raised this issue on a ticket on the main site.... but got a "computer says no" kind of response...... along the lines of BT does this at their end and we can't alter their automatic profile performance monitors... but I know you guys on here are more helpful.

Can you access the TP Link modem as that is where the stats would be

Sorry you were told that - it's true that we can't if you're on Fibre, but as you're on ADSL2 we can get them for you (though as Jim says if you're able to log in to the modem you should be able to see them fine).

It does look like interleaving has turned itself back on recently, not sure why but if you're seeing drops on the line that could be it. Is the modem plugged into the master socket, and is everything else plugged into the line done so through a microfilter?

Yes it's ADSL2.... the Asus router won't give me line stats on the firmware I have. I have done all you said with regards to master socket and microfilters. Could you turn interleaving back off please. Thanks.

Hi there,
Just checked and it seems interleaving is back to being off at the moment (and is actually set to Opt out, so won't turn itself on again later either).

Hi. Could you make double sure that interleaving is off for good... and could you post my latest stats thanks.
Would still like improvement but better now on fastpath. Is that right that the SNR Margin is on the default: 6?

Interleaving is still off (hence the O). Downstream SNR is still set to 6dB by default but will rise and fall depending on the line.

While it's true that the upstream is capped, and while I've no doubt you have the end user's best interests at heart, I'd rather wait for a request from the owner of the line before making any changes.

Seeing this discussion, the P2P is important to me..... and uncapping the upload could make my download slightly superior. Streams sent do seem to be getting clogged and slowing down.
Could you do this, uncap the upload?
