Login request.

why do I keep getting this popping up, it has happened about once or twice a day during the past week. Never had any problems before.
Switching off the router or restarting the computer usually clears it but it's becoming a pain in the bum !

Can't be 100% certain, but it could be to do with the modem disconnecting from the internet. Therefore, it will ask you to login to fix any settings. But, it will quickly go away as it will automatically reconnect.

Some guy is correct, your internet connection keeps dropping. I've posted a log this;

I'd suggest running through the checks at http://faults.plus.net and see if this helps, if not then we'll investigate it further from there.

Thanks for the feedback.
About 500yards from our house is a standard GPO telephone box or sub box or whatever the correct name for it is which contains all the telephone wiring connections for this area, hardly a day goes by that an engineer is not in the box fiddling about with the wiring.
I cannot say for certain that this is the cause of my line dropping but when it goes down the red light on the modem comes on for a few seconds which indicates there may be a problem.
Previously it was very infrequent (once a month or less and just for a few seconds) but seems to have got worse over the past few weeks.
Will leave it for the time being to see if it clears but if not will follow it through using the Plusnet faults checker.
