@redsox9 If your speed is reduced it is fairly obvious that the fault has not been rectified, get back onto Plusnet to tell openreach to fix it properly. I would say there is no chance of it improving in the next ten days.

@jab1 @RealAleMadrid @ClaudiaG23
I will keep an eye on the stats.
It seems jab1 was right all along. It was an external line fault as I had not made any changes when the connection stabilised. Plusnet says Openreach has "resolved" the fault. I have asked for details but don't know if the help team can provide them.

@redsox9 It was a modify order by the looks of it, so there wasn't any notes from Openreach. Somebody also raised the SNR to 15Db which is weird.

@willcutforth So it wasn't a fault investigation, but a modify order, from whom? Presumably the same somebody who raised the SNRM value, so reducing the speed. Something odd going on here, I think you need to investigate.

Download speed has dropped to 6652kbps noise margin 28 compared with yesterday's 9297 noise margin 23. Attached are the stats.

I have just received a text saying "Plusnet is working correctly." Correctly? My download speed used to be 21mbps with a noise margin of 4. Now it is 6mbps with a noise margin of 28.

@redsox9 can you pop a router reboot through for me please? When the DLM reset went through, the connection didn't drop.

Received the following Plusnet text: "Great news! Our suppliers have advised that they have resolved the fault affecting your services. Upon testing the connection today we can see that it...."
Any chance of letting me know what the fault was?
Attached are the latest stats after the reboot.

"It was a modify order by the looks of it, so there wasn't any notes from Openreach. Somebody also raised the SNR to 15Db which is weird."
Will, such candidness is much appreciated.

@redsox9 It does not appear - from that last PDF - to be sorted. Have you tried rebooting the router?

Just rebooted but stats are the same. Do you think I should try another router?

@redsox9 If the stats are the same, another router isn't going to help. My personal opinion is that Openreach's claim to have solved the issue is, shall we say, incorrect - looking at your SNR figures.

@jab1
@willcutforth
Tried a different router but the stats are the same. Where do we go from here?
