Hello,
I have been with plusnet for just under 3 months now. When the engineer visited and setup everything, the speed mesured was a little over 79/19 (the box touches the wall and the line is probally less 20m in length) which i was very happy with, but recently the line has dropped to ~26/15 as idicated via varous speed tests inc BT speed checker and listed under the plusnet member area.
I have an ECI FTTC modem with a plusnet technicolour tg582n
I didnt really want to alter the firmware of the ECI modem to enable the webpage and get the stats out if possiable (but will)
i have checked with only a desktop computer connected.
there is no noise on the phone and everything is stable
regards

Hi bibok,
We've received your Fault Ticket. I've tested your line and we've identified a Copper Joint Fault which we'll have our suppliers investigate.
Our Faults Team will be back in touch once we have a further update.
