Line speed dropped from 2.5mb to 512k is my cn21 activated?

Hi All I think my order has been completed at it was return to the BOT team, however i have since done a line test hand the download speed has dropped from 2.5mbs to 512k can anyone advise me on this please case id is 29460055

G.992.1 is standard ADSL not ADSL2+ (which is G.992.5). 
It also looks from your sync speed that you've been put on a fixed 512k rather than ADSL2+

so how do i get this fixed any ideas, as this is driving me crazy as wfh today!

You are on ADSL2+, but it looks, er, a bit on the slow side.
Can you try rebooting your router and see if it makes any difference at all?

Hi I did a reboot via the web page last night, do you want me to doa hard reboot?

It won't hurt at all to try.
It sounds like a dodgy resync event which might have resulted in a banded profile.  If you still sync at the same speed after a reboot - leave it for 3 days and the sync speed should spring back to life.

Ok - In which case your need to wait a bit I'm afraid.
It's part of the initial training period, I'd suspect.

but everything else checks out then, mtu, profile  etc, as the other chap wrote i was on the wrong standard or somethng

The router stats suggest that the router is connecting using standard DSL (ITU-T G992.1 is standard ADSL) and the sync rates are those of a fixed 512k service (576down 288up).  Has his equipment negotiated a standard ADSL connection with the exchange or is there something else up?
