Hi there,
For years my connection has always been plain ADSL (g.992.1) with standard 6db noise margin and with interleaving on. Im in central London but on a fairly long line, 4.5meg is all I can get . Its stable enough (with very occasional drop-outs)
However, yesterday it suddenly changed to ADSL2 (g.992.3), 3db margin....and fastpath - all in one go! This seems unusual as there's no way my line will cope on this setting over time, I used to use BE where you could manually adjust these settings and it was never stable set on 3db, nor fastpath.
Can it be reset to 6db + interleaving on? the ADSL2 setting is all good.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
