Line coding trellis - off for upload?

Hi, my router (billion 7800nxl) is reporting line coding (trellis) as being on for download, but off for upload.

Is this correct?

Having had a look around, it would appear that as my line is quite long and upload not blazing fast, having line coding off for upload is the best option.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

It may be easier for people to assist you if you post your full DSL stats.

If you were thinking of having interleaving enabled for the upstream, by having interleaving switched on permanently (opt in instead of auto), then that tends to reduce the upstream bandwidth slightly.
