Line IP Profile reduced - please reset

I changed my router recently, then had some issue with a new firmware and configuration.  The router decided to resync the line each time I made a configuration change, and of course that appears to have affected my speed (And line sync).
That was a couple of weeks ago and I would have thought after a period of stability that this would have been reset, but it has not. Speedtester shows profile of 7.9 downstream, 0.45 upstream., I was getting around 9-10 Mbps download, now I struggle to get 7.
Any chance this can be reset - also I would like the benefit of an uncapped upstream, can I ask for this? (I work from home and find uploading frustrating, so any increased upload bandwidth would be helpful, even if it causes a detriment to the download.
Many thanks
Charles

Re: Line IP Profile reduced - please reset

Your problem is that your downstream SNRM is (presumably) now targeting 12dB instead of the default value of 6dB.  That is what needs to be reset.

OK, but I don't have control over that...

Re: Line IP Profile reduced - please reset

No, except insofar as you can cause the DLM to raise your target SNRM by doing what you did, repeatedly restarting your router to mimic an unstable line.
But my point was that Plusnet do not have control over your download speed or IP Profile.  However they can adjust your target SNRM by various means.

OK - hopefully  a mod will come along shortly and raise a ticket for me then...

Hi charlesb224,
I've palced a SNR reset on your line that should see your speeds increase in the next 4 hours. I've also placed a modify order to uncap your upload speed which will complete tomorrow.
