Line Fault / Restrictions ?

Hi i just joined plusnet on the 5th September the first couple of days my speeds were great i was getting 76/17 now they are terrible BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test gives the download speed at 5.4 mb but i can only recieve 600kb/s are there restrictions in place on the fibre optic unlimited ?I have got the technicolor TG582n router trying to find the stats to post here but unable to find them ( where do i find them with a fibre connection ? )

I've checked over your connection and can see that the DLM has set your profile to 5.8Mb/s. Your line has been dropping heavily over the past couple of days;

Are you able to complete the fault diagnostic questions you've started here and we can then get this to the appropriate team to get this resolved.

Ok i have finished the questionaire but i done this over the phone with one of your support staff,i was with sky before i joined plusnet and i had a stable connection 24/7 with them.
How do i find all the stats on the technicolor router ?
Are there restrictions on the fibre 76mb package ?

You can't get the stats on fibre unless you hack the BT modem

We've got the fault raised with our suppliers and they've identified a fault, we'll keep you up-to-date on your fault ticket with the progress.
In terms of restrictions with speed and usage, the package you're on there aren't any, no.

I doubt it is at your end, we don't have any further information at the minute.

The bt engineer came out and fixed the problem( fault in the cabinet ) thanks for that, so i guess that it is up to you to reset the dlm again ?

The engineer has stated that he has reset the DLM but this doesn't seem to have taken effect yet, this was only 30 minutes ago though.
Our faults team will pick this up and update you.
UPDATE - It looks like the reset has now gone through so you should be seeing full line speed.

Not yet i'll try plugging the bt modem in by itself and get back to you
