Am right in thinking that to leave I just go to a new supplier?
No MAC and no need to give notice, been with plusnet over the required contract length now

Given the ludicrous special offers all the bigger ISP's are offering
- cheaper Yes
- better No worse perhaps
Off course phoning Customer Options may well generate an acceptable offer

There has been many problems in the past.
I had to buy a replacement router (a proper one £50) soon after completion as the 'new' one just kept dropping the line, (still does when I try it) also £9.99 p/m for an at best average service is not worth it.

Dont blame u , had a problem with their wifi router my self and only solved this after buying new one. Technical support was much better at previous provider they took over an hour with me until get to the problem. Plusnet support did not see the problem with my connection apart from speed which is lower that what I should be getting. I gave up after 2 weeks of pointless emails and phone conversations. Of course they agreed in their last email that it was router issue.

Which modem/router was/is it that kept dropping the line? Can you post some full xDSL stats which will tell us about your line and what it ought to achieve.
What do you call "at best - average service" exactly?
