Lead Times?

It used to be that if you managed to get sync an attempt to connect to Plusnet would prod the system to activate the broadband on your account (don't know if that is still the case). Try connecting at regular intervals once you see you have sync.

The hub is set up, and the broadband light is alternating between red and orange, which seems to mean it's detected the line but there is nothing coming through to verify my password against.  I'll leave it switched on for the next 24 hours and see what happens.

Just in case you've got it wrong when manually configuring your router (you wouldn't be the first nor the last!), check that you have all the settings as shown in the table on this page: https://portal.plus.net/support/broadband/help_and_setup/connections_settings.shtml

The hub won't recognise my password so I'll leave it switched on today and see if anything has changed tonight when I get home.
I take it that at this point in time there is nothing to worry about? It's just the normal set up process?

Sorry to be a pain, i was just wondering if we were all set for today for "switch on"? my account says tomorrow after 12.00 but you said it was due today or earlier, but as of this morning its still not on.
