So we have had ALOT of problems with plusnet, starting with an engineer not having a modem AND he did not install a master socket, But an engineer is coming tomorrow to sort that (hopefully) Now I received a text from plusnet saying my actual BROADBAND would be activated on the 25th of October, Why is it going to take a day after the modem and router get set up for my broadband to get to me? This is silly. Is there anyway it can be activated on the day?

I *think* that's a oddity within the PN system, my fibre orders both said that and were activated on the same day.
hope it goes smoothly for you this time

Hi chambers13,
Sorry to hear that you weren't up and running when the engineer arrived, we'll feed this back to our suppliers.
Your account is active as of today so you should be able to connect straight away when the engineer connects you up.
The date of the 25th can be ignored, our current notification does give the competition date(24th) plus one day as your activation date.
