LLU Problems?

Since 21:50 my LLU'ed connection has been going up and down regularly. heres a summary of my router log

No loss of sync, just authentication problems.
taking a while to post this as connection isn't up long enough to enter it in one go!
Usually when this kind of thing happens it's a problem with Tiscali and takes an hour or two before plusnet find out about it.

oooohhh, I'm having similar problems here, connection seems rather sluggish as well...

very sluggish. usually get speeds of around 6.5M, can't even get speed tester to start at the moment

Had problems here since 10pm, same issue on my dads connection in the same town here in cheshire.
Slow to register then crawling net if at all.

Tiscali had some core network issues last night, should be resolved now. We posted a service status about them:-

Just out of interest, why was the priority problem http://www.plus.net/support/service/problems/problem.php?intProblemId=52767 raised at 29/07/2008 @ 22:19 (suggesting that you could associate your username with this problem) but the service status was not posted until 30/07/2008 @ 00:51?
When there is a problem I look to the service status to see if it has already been raised, wouldn't have dream of looking at the priority problems.  Had the service status have been raised at the same time I wouldn't have started this thread.
For clarity, where should we look in future?

You should look at the Service Status page for starters.
Normally, someone in Comms would have been called out and we would  have updated the Service Status.
I don't believe this happened last night, but Dave happened to be awake and online, and updated it when he noticed there was a problem.
