Keep getting "page could not be found"

I keep getting page could bnot be found errors, and the only way to get it working again is to unplug the router, and plug it back in again, where the internet conection seems OIK for a whiile, before it all slows down again and then "page could not be found"

Is it on any particular site? What router are you using?

Re: Keep getting "page could not be found"

Have you made sure that the router has no idle time outs set?  Check its configuration and, dependent on your router, either set the idle time out to 0 or tick the appropriate box to say "always on".

If you have a software firewall disable or uninstall it and see if the problem still occurs.
Do the same with any Anti Virus software.

Re: Keep getting "page could not be found"

The problem is either the router MTU is set wrong  see
http://www.smallbusinesscomputing.com/webmaster/article.php/3491066
for details or your DNS is set wrong make sure your pc has the dns set to plusnet dns or  use
    *  208.67.222.222
    * 208.67.220.220
This is assuming your router isnt dropping the connection  for this check the logs
